The Housing and Community Development (HCD) Fellowship program is funded by the City of Memphis Division of Housing and Community Development (HCD) and the Graduate School at the University of Memphis.  

Fellows are assigned to different organizations around the Memphis metropolitan area to conduct activities to promote community development and capacity building.

Fellowships are awarded to twelve outstanding students from the graduate programs in city and regional planning, public and nonprofit administration and anthropology.  

The Fellowship program is under the direction of Dr. Stan Hyland, Head of the School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy at University of Memphis.
